privacy policy
Last updated September 2, 2026
This page explains what information this site and course ("I'm Not a Coder," operated by Think X Design) collects, why, and what happens to it. Written in plain language, same as the course itself.
What we collect
- If you request the free guide: your email address, so we can send it to you.
- If you create an account: your name (optional), email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your actual password — Better Auth, our self-hosted authentication system, hashes it before it's saved. A session cookie keeps you signed in.
- If you buy the guide: your purchase is processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles that, and shares back only what's needed to confirm your purchase (email, amount, a transaction ID).
- Basic technical data: our hosting providers (Cloudflare, DigitalOcean) log standard technical details like IP address and browser type for security and reliability, the same way almost every website does.
We do not currently run any advertising pixels or analytics trackers on this site. If that changes, this page will be updated first.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — sending the free guide and account-related emails.
- Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google's servers, which means your browser makes a direct request to Google when the page loads (standard for most sites using web fonts).
We don't sell your information to anyone, for any reason.
Where your data lives
Course content and accounts are stored on a server we run and control directly, not a third-party database platform. The static pages you're reading are served by Cloudflare.
Your rights
You can ask us to see what we have on file for you, correct it, or delete your account and associated data entirely. Email creative@thinkxdesign.com and we'll handle it directly — no automated process to fight with.
Children
This course isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted here directly rather than buried in a changelog.
